Meet Daddy Owen & Rufftone’s Younger Bro, A Terrific Chef And Performing Artist Who’s Creating Ripples In The Industry.
The Mwatia brothers have always been a force to reckon with not just in Gospel circles but the entire showbiz scene. The two, Rufftone and Daddy Owen have faced so much together and it has always been one for all and all for one.
And now, not one but two of their brothers are gradually making a foray in this industry. Fidel Mwatia AKA Fidel Atondola and Larry Mwatia AKA Sledge seem so upbeat to replace their elder brothers in this city.
However, today, let’s talk about Fidel.
Barely a year into the mainstream Gospel music, Fidel went ahead to clinch the New Artiste of the Year Award during the 2012 Mwafaka Awards. The singer who draws inspiration from his elder brothers, Rufftone and Owen as well as worship songbird, Eunice Njeri, has his eyes on set on seeing the Gospel spread and winning regional awards like MAMA and Kora Awards.
Fidel is a man with many feathers on his sombrero. Besides from making hits, he can make you lick your fingers with his “Haute Cuisine” dishes professionally made by the Chef in him.
Speaking of awards, Fidel has been nominated in two categories in Groove Awards 2015. He will face it off with others for New Artiste Of The Year and Collabo Of The Year awards.
