Lupita Nyong’o Cries Uncontrollably In Kisumu (Photos)

 

After her first appearance in Nairobi where Lupita spoke to the Kenyan media for the first since bagging an Oscar a year ago, the celebrated thespian jetted to her rural home in Ratta, Kisumu, where she was accompanied by her parents and grandmother.

It was while at a meeting in Ratta that Lupita was moved into tears and wept uncontrollably as pupils of Mariwa Primary School recited a poem about insecurity in Kenya, reports Standard Digital.

In the photos that SD has shared, Lupita is seen weeping uncontrollably as her mother consoles her and tries to cool her down.

Insecurity has been the biggest thorn among Kenyans as Al Shabaab insurgents continue to threaten us and sometimes carry out attacks on our soil.

Lupita also visited her grandmother after a long period out of the country.
