This Is Why Obama Will Talk About Homosexuality When He Visits Kenya Later This Month Despite Opposition From Kenyan Leaders

Kenyan leaders led by Deputy President William Ruto have vehemently condemned acts of homosexuality in the recent past, arguing that it is a taboo for Kenyans to be encouraged to practice it.

The leaders were joined by the church and a number of Kenyans who took to the streets to castigate the practice, saying that no homosexuals will be tolerated in the country.

The fight against the forbidden practice in Kenya comes in the wake of the imminent visit of US President Barack Obama who recently lauded a ruling in America allowing same sex marriages and homosexuality.

Kenyans seem to have sensed danger that the most powerful man on earth will import his believe in the practice into the country and try to encourage youths to indulge into it.

This explains why those opposed to the practice have warned Obama against raising a word about the same.

And as more and more Kenyans join hands to threaten Obama if he raises the homosexuality issue in Kenya, POTUS is expected to delve into the matter despite the opposition.

This is likely to happen after State House quashed all the warnings and given Obama a go ahead to express himself as he wants.

According to State House, Kenya is a democratic country where the freedom of speech is highly encouraged.

This latest development contradicts DP Ruto who came out to publicly warn against homosexuality.

It is also likely to bring the most powerful compound on the land at logger heads with a section of Kenyans and leaders.
