Kenyan Artist Roasts Kenyan Leaders, Calls Them Out On Their Pretense About Mzee Ojwang’s Death.
Kenyan leaders are hypocrites, they should stop mourning Mzee Ojwang altogether. Before he met his end last evening, save for Sonko and a few others no one had gone to check on the ailing Mzee Ojwang let alone share in his plight.. Blaqy begins the long tirade.
“You see, we have had this culture for the longest time, which needs to be done away with for good. We don’t celebrate our stars when they shine, we wait until their glitz flickers into nothingness, then rush to out social media accounts to shower them with covered up emotions and undue adoration.
Mr. Ojwang was but an isolated case, we forget people when they live and thrive, the little things we don’t do to them when they live cannot be equated to the things we purport to do for them when they pass on.
Mr Ojwang needed help, he was neglected. That spirit of kinsmanship we are so keep to show the world would have come in handy while he lived. That is the least we could have done for him,for his memory, as part of appreciation of his diligence in the film and entertainment industry.
The Band Perry Sang “
A penny for my thoughts, oh, no, I’ll sell ’em for a dollar
They’re worth so much more after I’m a goner
And maybe then you’ll hear the words I been singin’
Funny when you’re dead how people start listenin’
Hail thee and farewell Mzee Ojwang. Your memories shall remain dear, close to our hearts as will your image.
