Movie Review: This Is Why You Need To Watch “Fear The Walking Dead”

The Tv series “Walking Dead” might not be on the same level as “Empire” or “The American Oddysey” Or  even “Intelligence” but the thriller has cut itself a niche and attracted quite a legion of fans and followers the world over. 

But with the new twist in the series that has seen walking dead morph into “Fear the walking dead”  the show’s cast, writers and directors will be smiling all the way to the bank, the 90-minute debut of “Fear the Walking Dead” became the No. 1-rated cable series launch on record with 10.1 million viewers, including 6.3 million adults 18-49. In total viewers, “Fear” surpasses TNT’s “Raising the Bar” (7.7 million in 2008) as top dog among cable premieres.

The new 90 minute show that premiered on Sunday night is a long winded account of : What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in “The Walking Dead”? This spin-off set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world, will answer that question
