BMF’s Amazing New Video Urges Kenyans Not to Forget Their Roots

When was the last time you gave up the luxuries and the convenience of the city to go back home and visit the very people who brought up up when you were young, or just to try and get back in touch with your roots?

When Kenyans talk of holiday destinations or take leave from work, they rarely go back to the villages they came from but instead venture to entertainment spots or relaxation venues to bide away time. What gospel group BMF are suggesting through their brand new single ‘Rudi Nyumbani’ is that you take time off to go back home and visit with your parents and relatives who are in the homestead.

Too often we forget where we came from when we become successful in life and this new track is set to inspire all of us to remember! It’s great to see Kenyan artistes and celebrities taking the fore front in motivating the society to address issues not usually talked about openly but now given a forum.

Nonini for example took on the plight of albinos with his Colour Kwa Face Campaign, Eko Dydda with his messages of shunning negative tribalism because we are all ‘one’ and ‘beautiful people’ and Daddy Owen asking ‘Mbona?’, a song about the difficulties the disabled go through.
