Man Njoro Spends the Cash He Swindled From Rabbit on His New Track

“Waiter, ebu karibia kidogo. Unaona ule pale? Anatutengenezea kelele. Mpatie kile anakunywa mpaka alale…hatutakangi kelele,” Man Njoro boasts as he enters the bar to celebrate whatever he swindled out of Rabbit a.k.a Kaka Sungura (shouldn’t he be the mjanja?!) in their last track, Uko Sure.

And so Man Njoro continues to milk his village guy persona in his brand new collabo-heavy track, Wanajua, which makes me realize how much I want to see a whole continuous album about his adventures.

His latest single might also mark the return of Fundi Frank, who took a musical hiatus almost a decade ago and concentrated on his clothing label. His style is still the same but it blends well with the Sniper beat.

Also on the track is Checkmate Mido with Ekori chanting throughout the track providing a brilliantly native feel to the almost jazzy beat, especially at the end over Mido’s beatboxing.

Check out the Enos Olik-directed video of the Gganji-produced track below and sing along to the hella catchy chorus, “Tukiingia mashinani huwezi uliza ni nani, wanajua ni nani.”
