Thursday Nite Live Brings You the Best of Acoustic Music Free

Roots International brings you another week of the best acoustic, jazz and roots music by some of Kenya’s finest performers.

This time, they bring you singer and percussionist, Olith Ratego. The event takes place this Thursday, 6th December at Choices Pub & Restaurant on Baricho Road in Industrial Area from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Entry is free.

Olith Ratego was born Musa Odhiambo Omondi in Siaya and first musical influences included his mother, a Dodo singer who even performed for President Jomo Kenyatta. Thanks to The Mighty King Kong, he got his first gig and chance to come to Nairobi to start recording. He is working on his sophomore and third album after the release of his debut album, Osuga.
