Toxic Cautions Her Fans Over Facebook Imposter
Fake social media accounts for celebrities might have started harmlessly as parody accounts that poke fun at the celebrities and their fans. But with the big influence some public personalities carry, came thugs who found ways to make money out of unsuspecting fans.
From the resolved cases of Kirigo Ng’arua and Kalekye Mumo to the Julie Gichuru and Caroline Mutoko accounts that started popping up way before the two bopened social media accounts, it has been a serious problem of late.
The latest victim is former video girl and dancer, Toxic. The socialite is now married with a child, living in the United Kingdom and is concerned over an account that has over 4,500 friends from impersonating her.
“Today, I stumbled upon a Facebook account that is impersonating mine. Kindly expose it and alert anyone who may be thinking it’s me.” The real Toxic account uses the profile name Aiden’s Mummy. The fake account uses Juliet Kwashh on the profile under the facebook.com/juliet.kwashh address.
Toxic would like to caution her fans and friends who might have unsuspectingly friended and engaged with the fake account to be careful and unfriend if possible.
