Emmy Kosgei’s Star Continues to Shine Brighter

Coming hot on the heels of her multi-million shilling wedding, Kenyan Gospel recording and performing Gospel songstress seems to have headed straight for the stars.

Last evening as stars gathered in large numbers for the 5th annual BEFFTA UK press and nomination launch at Babble Mayfair, Emmy was the only Kenyan who who made it to the final list of nominees. The multi-award winner at AGMA Awards, Groove Awards and East Africa Music Awards was nominated in the Best International Gospel Act category.

Emmy will face it off with Kay Morris, Redemption Voices, Nathaniel Bassey, Uche, Henrisoul and Preachers.

BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) awards founded by the inspirational Pauline Long is celebrating 5 years of honours industry personalities. The award ceremony which honours under one roof film directors, actors, beauty pageants, musicians, fashion designers, journalists, authors, models, radio personalities, TV personalities amongst others will take place on 25th and 26th October hosted by international comedian Eddie Kadi and ITV news reader Charlene white.

Online voting will begin on 6th October.
