Ringtone Explains Why He Has Quit Politics

Last week, Gospel singer Ringtone made it known that he’s quitting politics…at least for now. Speaking to Ghafla, Ringtone says that he wants to concentrate on charity and ministry.

“Nataka kusaidia vijana saizi, nikiweza access prezzo ama deputy prezzo nataka niwaambie zile shida vijana wanapitia,” divulged the ‘Jubilee’ singer.

Asked whether he will be running for a seat in 2017, Ringtone says that he will cross that bridge when he gets to it but for now he’s concentrating on his ministry and charitable trust.

Ringtone was central in Jubilee’s campaign in the run up to the March General Elections that saw him traverse the country alongside the coalition’s luminaries to drum up support.

He has also tried running for a political seat twice with no success.
