Shock as Popular Gospel Singer Hangs Up When Asked About Her Allegedly Rogue Pastor

Last night, NTV aired an expose, Seeds of Sin, on how fake preachers in Kenya are reaping millions of shillings from unwary believers. The Dennis Okari investigative piece took viewers through the treacherous journey of fake preachers who use the pulpit to reap millions.

The expose provoked mixed reactions among Kenyans with most of them taking to Twitter and Facebook to express their disgust and censure. However, resident rabble-rouser, Cabu Gah reacted to the story differently; instead of posting his dissatisfaction online, he decided to take the bull by its horns.

What followed was drama Naija movie-style. Take a look;

“I watched Pastor Kanyari surreptitiously imploring his viewers to send in a cash amount.,And put water in a glass… THAT wasnt PREACHING to me. All this was SORCERY. Pure Black Witchcraft.

Angered,I called up Betty Bayo. Kanyari’s wife. Betty didnt pick.

And after trying for 5 times,she picked. She requested to know who I was. I said, “Its Cabu Gah…”and she quickly hang up.

Then I called up her hubby Pastor Kanyari. I just wanted to ask a couple questions. Nothing much.

A woman picked. She told me Pastor wasnt around. I insisted on talking to him. She asked me “Kama nataka Maombi..”

I said,

“NO. Mimi nimetoka KTN…mimi ni mwanahabari…nataka kufanya interview na Pastor…”

Immediately,she said, “Wrong Number. Hii ni wrong number…pole…”

But I challenged her. And told her to quit lying to me. She yelled at me,and started calling me names. Angered,I gave her a thorough lecture. And we got into a heated argument.

I was conversing in fluent English,and I was speaking quick and fast and furiously.

Unable to keep up with me,she switched to Kikuyu.

Thinking I wouldnt match her in Kikuyu,I SWITCHED to Kikuyu too. And it was a marathon.

I lectured her. And lectured hard.

She hang up.”
