If you are at work as you read this, I assume you are not a farmer. However, that should be stereotypical because most farmers earn more than you do by getting their hands quite literally. But most graduates shun farming as they opt for white collar jobs…but Juliani is not.
The Farming is Cool concert tour, led by sensational rapper, Juliani, in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), Amiran Kenya, Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) and the Nation Media Group recently carried out a three day educative tour on agribusiness around Eldoret town.
With a the series of activities carried out around Eldoret, Juliani together with Amiran Kenya and the KRCS visited education institutions such as the Race Coarse Primary school and Chepkoilel University, interacting with students on how they can create wealth through modern farming techniques.
Backed up with knowledge he has gained from his agribusiness training plus the partners support, Juliani is ready to take up more tours with his next stop being the Machakos County on the 17th of November 2013.
