Kenya’s Top Female Artists Set to Share the Stage with Grammy-winning American Singer & Actress

Jill Scott’s achievements in Hollywood speak for her. Since 1999, Scott has made a reputation for being a classic, thought provoking artist gained by her 2000 multi-platinum selling debut, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1. This great daughter is set to share a stage with one of Kenya’s top female artists, Sara Mitaru.

It’s no doubt that Sara Mitaru is arguably- Kenyas top female artist. It’s not just her great recorded music but her live performances are simply amazing. Her hit single “You said” pushed this amazing live singer into the charts for weeks.

Reports have confirmed that this November she will be sharing the stage with legends at the Lagos Jazz Festival. Also performing are Jazz greats like Marcus Miller, Pat Matheny and Robert Glasper (below).
