Has Ciku Muiruri Been Fired From Classic 105? Find Out

For a better part of last week, Classic 105 Drive Show host and the brains behind the famous “Busted” segment, Ciku has been off-air leaving her co-host, Larry Asego, to take charge the evening drive show. And now all indicators seem to point to a possible dismissal of the sassy host.

A little bird at Radio Africa Group intimates that Ciku has been axed from the station but she was summoned for a disciplinary meeting last Friday that was attended by the Group HR Manager, the big man himself, Mr. Patrick Quarcoo and Pete Sinclair, the head of Radio at RAG. Unconfirmed reports indicate that she might have either been fired or just a disciplinary action.

It’s alleged that the decision was taken after Ciku “absconded duty and headed to the US as well as for being rude.”

The said trip to the US was in October when Ciku escorted her 16 year old daughter, Erica Gachoka, who was taking part in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2013 in her quest to help buy mobile blood units in the country.

Last Tuesday, Ciku hinted at a possible exit from her radio job (see below) something that set tongues wagging after she wasn’t heard on her show for the next three days.

From the above conversation with her daughter, Erica, Ciku seems keen to depart from her job even though uncertainty still lingers in her mind.

However, Ghafla! contacted Ciku and she dismissed the sacking rumour. As a matter of fact she will be back on air this evening for her celebrated radio show.
