Leading Bank Declines to Refund Classic 105’s Larry Asego His Hard-Earned Cash

Most people prefer keeping their cash under their mattresses rather than banking it at financial institutions for various reasons but most commonly because of unwarranted headaches that banks create.

Recently, Classic 105’s Larry Asego found himself in an awkward situation when a leading bank, which he entrusts his cash with, declined to refund him after one of its ATMs dispensed to him fake notes. According to him the “well-established bank” gave him 7,000 all in fake notes of the 15,000 he withdrew from the ATM.

“Once withdrew fake cash from an ATM on a Sunday from a well-established bank. Come Monday they took me round in circles for about 6hours and no refund was forthcoming. I closed my bank account that same day. So my 7k out of the 15k I withdrew is an isolated case. But it’s still my damn 7k.”

He goes ahead to challenge banks to stop acting like the proverbial ostrich, “Banks stop burying your heads in the sand in denial. There is fake cash in some of your ATM, isolated case or not.”
