The new sheriff at Nation Media Group’s radio unit is earning more enemies than friends. The new radio boss who was formerly with Ogilvy has embarked on a bold restructuring move which has already seen the following sacked.

1. Lynda Oriaso – Presenter, Q FM

2. Sheila Mwanyigha – Presenter, Easy FM

3. Elvina Omalla – Presenter, Q FM

4. Edward Kwach – Presenter, Easy FM

5. Zuhura Ogada-Odhiambo – Commercial Manager at Nation Media Group,Nation Broadcasting Division.

6. Sam Waruinge – Editor, Q FM

7. Eleanor Khayo – Business Executive to Business Manager, Radio Department

8. Roncliff Odit – Presenter, Q FM

9. Ian Wainaina aka Dr Cupid – Presenter, Easy FM

The Homerun programme on Easy FM has also been cancelled forthwith.

In what is rumoured to be a the greatest move by the struggling unit, the Easy FM radio might be re-launched in February 2014 under a new name.
