Octopizzo Pulls A Jay Z And Features His Daughter In His Latest Realease (VIDEO)

Last year Jay Z featured his daughter in a song. It would seem Octo was reading from the same script when he decided to feature his daughter -Tracy- on his latest release. The Kibera born and bred artist featured her on his release titled “Blackstar” which is his way of telling us his story from birth to stardom.

Given the subject matter, the song content was always going to be gritty but he found a way to feature his daughter such that the song is more infor-tainment and less an “I made it from the slum” narrative.

The video to the song is shot in black and white which I think is fitting given the content matter and the beats? The instrumentals meddley a lullaby piano chords with “street” drumlines.

Octo spits lyrics in his trademark punchline method and his daughter makes the song less thug with her sweet singing on the hook. Check out the video below:
