Maina And King’ang’i In The Morning: Is It Alright For Your Husband To Keep Mistresses As Long As He Takes Care Of The Family Well?

Today Maina played back a recording that shocked me. Apparently, Kenyan women are willing to allow their husbands to play the field but only aslong as they take care of their responsibilities and provide for the family. The recording he played back was of a woman who was admitting that she is well aware of her husband’s shenanigans and she has on occasion found condoms in his wallet but she still has her @dignity intact@ because he caters to his responsibilities.

One thing I can say is that this woman would not be able to sit with Asante Khasiani. Not in the same geographical location let alone the same table.

From what I am made to understand when I enquired from the lads present at the office, this is usually the case when the wife relies wholly on her husband for the family’s welfare. I cannot help but agree with that. I feel that a man who decides to have “mipango ya kando” is a coward. Period. A real man declares his intentions. I am a polygamist. Love it or hate me, yuou still have to leave me the hell alone!
Tune in to Maina and King’ang’i in the Morning and participate in this riveting debate; Is a man allowed to play the field if he is taking care of his responsibilities?
