Top Mombasa DJ Wakes Up To Find A Murdered Man In His Neighbourhood

Today I woke to a very interesting post on Facebook. Top Mombasa deejay, DJ Nicky Phondo woke up in his house which is located in Malindi to find a man who sat dead in his car. The lad took to Facebook to share his shock and horrow and sadly, even posted a picture of the victim.

That entire affair looks like a scene straight out of “The Wire”, one of my favourite shows. From what he posted, the corpse had been there from earlier in the morning (the witching hours).

He then posted a nmessage of condolence to the deceased’s family and his name… Uh huh… This was his posted:

While i was sleeping;
Someone was shot dead @ Malindi near Sabaki Pharmacy buy unknown people who were on a motorbike who fled after committing the act. Am told His name is Bakshuen. May his soul R.I.P.

If you were expecting the picture of the deceased, my apologies. I don’t get my jollies like that. Respect for the dead and all that rot.
