Maina And King’ang’i In The Morning: Women Who Just Can’t Shut Up

Maina and King’ang’i this morning have been delving the topic of nags. Wives and girlfriends who refuse to shut up and keep talking and yammering. You know the type. Actually, we all know the type. The one I interacted with was a teacher back in high school. And when I say she couldn’t shut up I mean that she kept moaning about incidences upto 3 weeks after they happened.

And the men who have called in have really told tales of woe and suffering because their wives refuse to shut up. Personally, I have always felt and still hold the opinion that this is a symptom of weakness in a man. How does your woman nag you to death? Is there no authority in your home?

But from the way I have heard men call in to cry and bemoan their talkative better halves, I am forced to believe that Kenyan men are generally weak. Gone are the days when he thought of himself as the head of the house and so did his spouse.
