DJ Creme last night received some rather sad news: he lost a fan of his who had grown to be more like his friend. And for those of you who do not know, it’s not that DJ Creme is one big sentimental puffball, he just happens to show love to those who show him love and appreciation.

Last night, DJ Creme de la Creme took to social media to mourn the passing of a certain lady and he went as far as to explain how they got to know each other and more than just the circumstance, how they got connected as friends. Check out the message below:

I met you through my boy in Nyeri who kept on telling me that you were my Number One fan and he had to drive all the way for you to come for my show. I Just got the saddest news ever that you passed on yesterday . I never knew you much but I want to say thank you for showing me love . Thank you for being my number One fan. Rest In Peace Kate.
