Sadat Muhindi: “Work Hard to Succeed; Don’t Bleach”

The debate on bleaching and how it leads to success doesn’t seem like it’s about to get over and done with. Despite Vera Sidika trying to prove how whitening her skin has brought her fame and has brought her fair winds to her sailing.

However, not so many people tend to read from the same script as the video vixen.

Wealthy and flamboyant entrepreneur, Sadat Muhindi, has come out to instruct young girls not to look up to to the likes of Vera but Lupita Nyong’o and Emmy Kosgei.

“I would like to encourage our young girls to work hard in school and at work to make money for themselves. Look at Lupita, Michelle Obama, Emmy Kosgei the late Miriam Makeba among others they didn’t need to bleach to be successful but rather work hard,” opines the Maliza Umaskini founder.

He takes a swipe at Vera’s over-the-top ostentatiousness saying Vera should stop humiliating herself with $3000 shoes.

“Tell her next time she talks about designer stuff she should do some research first. Asijiaibishe na $3,000 shoes thinking they’re expensive. If that’s so, then your “billionaire” isn’t spending much on you. Expensive shoes for female celebrities go for as high as $20,000 and handbags of up to $500,000.”

On bleaching, Sadat says,

“If a man wanted to have light-skinned women I believe he would go for European or genuinely white ones and not bleached ones. Black is beautiful. I wish girls you knew that.
