Basically, what Kenyan artistes are calling for is embracing of Kenyan music. They have started an operation dubbed, “Toa Yao Moja Weka Yetu Moja”, which requests all fans, deejays, veejays, radio and TV producers to remove any foreign music from their playlists and replace with a Kenyan jam.
