The recent Garissa attacks which left 147 Kenyans dead have sent chills down the spines of many Kenyans, eliciting different reactions and condemnations from all quarters.

The country is yet to come to terms with the unfortunate and untimely happenings and many have showed their support for the survivors and families of those who lost their loved once in the attack.

As tributes pour in from all corners of the globe for the departed heroes and heroines, Kenya’s finest singing group, Sauti Sol, has shed a tear for the fallen students and staff.

In an exclusive interview with BET Networks, Sauti Sol’s four members: Mudigi, Bien, Chimano and Otieno have expressed their disgust at the killings, saying this was uncalled for.

They said the students were looking for education to better their futures and should not have been killed in such a horrific circumstance.

They challenged the relevant authorities to ensure security for all.

What about the relationship between Muslims and Christians in Kenya?

Sauti Sol say they believe there is no religion that teaches its people to kill others so that they can get into heaven. They believe that Muslims and Christians should respect one another and animosity should be build amongst them by Al Shabaab.
