See What Maina Kageni Had To Say About Willy Paul After He Failed To Win An Award In The Just Concluded Groove Awards

The talk in town this morning is all about the just concluded Groove Awards that went down at the Kasarani stadium over the weekend. While majority believe the whole event was a huge success, a few feel it was a bit flawed probably because their favourite artistes walked back home empty handed.

And the biggest talk in town is all about Gospel wonder boys Kevin Bahati and Willy Paul Msafi.

While the  former scooped four trophies at the awards, the latter walked home without anything to show from the awards.

Theories have been put up about Bahati’s win and Willy Paul’s loss. And the latest to sympathize with Willy Paul is Cassic 105’s all time best presenter Maina Kageni.

In his show this morning, as Mwalimu King’ang’I played his famous Kayamba for Bahati following his huge win, Maina maintained that Willy Paul still remains his favourite and feels so sorry for him for not bagging an award.

Mwalimu King’ang’I then asked him to tell Willy Paul, his man, to consider a collabo with Bahati but Maina maintained Willy Paul is a talented man who really needed an award.

It can be remembered that this is not the first time Maina has publicly declared his admiration for Willy Paul’s work. He has done it before prompting unnecessary theories from the ever innovative Kenyans about his relationship with Willy Paul.
