What You Did Not Know About American Rapper Mos Def Who Is Coming To Kenya Today

Celebrated American hip hop maestro Mos Def is expected in the country any time from now for a show alongside Kenyan rappers.

Mos Def (real name Yasiin Bey) is expected to perform at the Ebony Lounge tomorrow when he jets in from France through London.

According to the Star newspaper, Mos Def will perform alongside Kenyan rappers Wangechi, Rabbit, Xtatic, Bamboo and many more.

Organised by the Nairobi Rapsody, all the Kenyan artistes will also be making appearances on the digital show Midnight Hump Show airing live on Wednesdays on WhatsGoodLIVEtv. Mos Def is famed for hits like Traveling Man, Universal Magnetic, Big Brother Beat, Crime & Medicine, Hater Players and Miss Fat Booty.

On Friday, he will join a lineup of local hip-hop artistes for the Artist Talk Back Panel, an intimate industry event that encourages conversations about how music can bridge communities and create social impact. A former member of the hip-hop duo Black Star with Talib Kweli, Mos Def is ranked 24th on the 50 Top MCs of our time by the Source Magazine.
