In just four hours you will be treated to something overpoweringly different, something truly exquisite, something that we’ll talk about for years to come as one of the grandest musical collaborations of all time. 

You look lost? Listen, two months ago we shared with you, very generously so, the story of Talanta Awards, that platform that began from the United states before landing in Kenya to discover, nurture, mentor using a holistic approach and award talent among the youth as well as help shape all-rounded persons chosen by merit after rigorous process and scrutiny.

In fact, it’s worth mentioning that two of the contestants in this year’s Talanta Awards had dropped out of school but are now back thanks to Talanta Team.

We gave you a story and provided photos of the mentees of the mentorship programme that had been held at the KICC.  You can refresh here for full details. 

But there was something we did not mention, something big, something completely regal, something so profound that it will blow your minds away. 

In just 4 hours. Four short hours, Talanta Awards will be dropping or launching a masterpiece track done by 18 voices! The track features 18 Voices of the Kenyan grand finalists of the just concluded Talanta Awards Kenyan Edition. 

The track has been directed by J. Blessing, (that legend of Link Global) and made possible of course by Talanta Awards USA.

Special props to Crossover 101’s Faith Muturi, Grace Kariuki (Harbour Counseling Centre) who was phenomenal in counseling the Talanta nominees, Bern (singer and Talanta Awards 2009 recipient; now mentoring others in Talanta), Benachi (set to tour the USA courtesy of Talanta), Esther Liana (the “Imela” star and also a mentor in Talanta) and of course, Meggie Waruri, the founder of Talanta Awards.  

The founder of Talanta says, very confidently so, ” Anyone who ever approached us or worked with us with a “handout” mentality has been and will be dissapointed, we equip and create opportunities for growth, exposure then let you soar”- Handouts mentality is breeding ground for unhealthy, corrupt and ungodly competition that is now rampant.
