EXCLUSIVE: Emotions Engulf Milimani Law Courts As Boy Detained For Jumping State House Wall Is Set Free At Last… But You Won’t Believe The Man Who Has Fought Hard To Have Him Released And What He Did For Him. And It Is Not JAGUAR

Tears, emotions, hugs and promises engulfed the Milimani law courts when the boy who was detained for jumping State House perimeter wall to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta was finally set free.

Mathews Maina hit headlines two weeks ago when he was arrested for trespassing into State House. He told the authorities and the court that his desire was to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta so that he could help him with money to record his unreleased songs after dropping out of school for lack of school fees.

Instead of the help, what came his way was an arrest and a subsequent remanding which has seen him spent almost two weeks behind bars in the cold cells of Industrial Area prisons.

When news of the boy’s plight littered the air, some celebrities came out to pledge their support for the boy. among them were Jaguar, Kaka Sungura and Candy and Candy CEO Joe Kariuki.

While Kaka Sungura has not done anything since he promised to help the boy get out of the cells and record his songs, Jaguar has been posting photos of the boy saying that he wants to help pay his fees and help him record his songs after high school.

But as things are turning out, the only person who has kept his word from the start is the recording label’s CEO Joe Kariuki. According to exclusive photos and information Ghafla! Kenya has obtained, Joe Kariuki has been having sleepless nights to see the boy out of jail.

Mathews Maina has been set free but will be under probation for 2 years where he is expected never to make any mistake.

Among the good things that have come his way following the arrest is that he is going back to school. And this is thanks to Joe Kariuki who has offered to clear his school fees right from form 1 to 4. Thereafter, the Candy and Candy has promised Maina to help him and his crew record his songs at his label.

Here are some of the exclusive photos of how things happened at Milimani Law Courts.
