Jaguar’s Threats Yield Fruits… See What Has Happened To Nacada After He Threatened To Quit Over Corruption

  • The celebrated singer has threatened to quit NACADA over massive corruption just two months after landing the job as a board member.

Jaguar made headlines early this week when he threatened to quit NACADA over what he said is misappropriation of funds in the agency mandated to tackle drug abuse and alcoholism.

According to the singer, some individuals in NACADA are misusing public funds and wants the matter investigated urgently or he quits in two weeks’ time.

It now seems his threats have yielded fruits as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has taken up the matter and is investigation the allegations made by the singer and some board members.

It is reported that the director of public prosecutions ordered an investigation into the same after Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery promised to deal with the matter and urged Jaguar not run away but instead stay put and fight corruption from within.

Jaguar has congratulated the responsible authorities for  taking the matter with the seriousness it deserves.

    He said:

  • jaguarkenyaThankyou thats all i was asking for…i can’t stand and watch thieves steal public money and do nothing for the community…Ahsante C.s Nkaissery for the quick response and assurance that if investigated and caught no one will be spared..its true we fighting the same thing..Corruption.
