After Calling Kenyan Girls Aggressive During His Last Visit Here, Uganda’s Funny Man Salvado Is Coming Once Again!

Salvado is the pride of Uganda when it comes to comedy.

The man who once worked as a telecommunications engineer is now considered one of the most bankable names in East African comedy to date and has bagged numerous accolades and awards.

In December last year, the comedian was in the country where he spoke about his first experience in Nairobi. In an interview with the Nairobian, Salvado revealed that in 2009, when he first came to Nairobi, he was shocked by the aggressiveness of Nairobi chics and Nairobian’s ability to hold their liquor.

” I first came to Kenya in 2009 by bus. I had come to perform at the Uganda Night at the Carnivore. I travelled throughout the night and did not see much.

But I got the real Kenyan experience when I got to Nairobi. Banange (my God!), Nairobi girls are aggressive! Back home, a man has to work very hard to even get a simple ‘hi’. Even our female journalists are very shy.” he said.

Now, the man from Ombokolo will be jetting into the country with a versatile mix of Africa’s top comedians for a grand rib-cracking affair hosted by the Kenyan king of comedy Churchill.

Apart from Salvado, comedy fans should expect to see Rwanda’s Nkusi Arthur, Zimbabwe’s Carl Ncube, DRC’s Eddie Kadi, South Africa’s Ndumsio Lindi to Malawi’s Daliso Chaponda at the inaugural laugh festival.

Others expected to share a stage with these stars are MC Jessy, Hammo, Sleepy and Aman who will be making special appearances.
